Under the original agreement, SYNLAB distributed Microba's legacy Insight test under the SYNLAB myBiome brand in Europe and Latin America. This initial phase, built on the legacy Insight test platform, enabled SYNLAB to serve healthcare professional and patient demand for microbiome testing across its network. The new agreement now advances the partnership through the transition to Microba’s next- generation clinical-grade platform, laying the foundation for a next phase of growth for the partnership. Microba and SYNLAB have executed a new agreement to advance the partnership through: 1) transitioning the partnership to Microba's clinical-grade Microbiome Explorer platform; 2) integrating Microbiome Explorer testing into SYNLAB's digital systems and diagnostic offering The agreement covers distribution across multiple European and Latin American markets, with an initial three- year term and a further three-year option to extend. Under the terms of the agreement, SYNLAB will offer Microba's latest-generation microbiome testing solution to healthcare professionals and patients in European and Latin American markets, combining Microba's scientific leadership in microbiome analysis with SYNLAB's medical excellence and diagnostic capabilities. SYNLAB will manage local distribution and logistics, with Microba providing laboratory processing and report delivery. The partnership provides Microba with an established distribution channel into European and Latin American markets, and positions Microbiome Explorer as the leading clinical microbiome testing platform available through SYNLAB's established healthcare network. Building on six years of partnership, the transition to Microba's clinical-grade platform positions the partnership for growth across Europe and Latin America in the years ahead.
