Commenting on the quarter, Microba’s CEO, Dr Luke Reid, said:
“FY26 was a year of disciplined execution and strong growth in our core testing business. Core testing revenue
grew 92% for the financial year, and we delivered approximately 22,400 core tests, up 78% versus FY25. Q4
capped the year with a record quarter: core testing revenue of $2.53 million, up 45% versus the prior
corresponding period, and core test volume up 54% versus the prior corresponding period. Our rolling-quarter
annualised run rate now exceeds 25,000 tests.
In Australia, Microbiome Explorer delivered another record quarter, with 5,311 tests sold, up 54% versus the
prior corresponding period. Our strategy focused on enterprise-style contracts with healthcare clinics continued
to deliver, with the signed key-account base underwriting a substantial share of the growth ahead as those
accounts mature.
In the United Kingdom, adoption of Microbiome Explorer continued to build, with 825 tests sold in the quarter, up
92% on the prior corresponding period.
FY26 revenue reflects a deliberate transition of our product portfolio toward growth and scalability. As we
completed the planned phase-out of our legacy products, continuing product revenue grew 53% to $12.73
million, while discontinued legacy revenue reduced 72% to $2.05 million. The close to FY26 presents a new
revenue base and a clean picture of the new Microba moving into FY27: a focused core testing business with 12
consecutive quarters of growth, alongside a focused portfolio of nutritional supplements delivering new growth.
For our therapeutics business, we attended the 2026 BIO International Convention in San Diego, and hosted
partnering meetings supported by our Boston-based advisors, as a precursor to a formal partnering campaign
planned to commence from July 2026. A manuscript reporting results from the Phase 1 trial of our lead asset
MAP-315 in ulcerative colitis has been provisionally accepted for publication in Nature Communications, titled “A
human microbiome-derived therapeutic for ulcerative colitis promotes mucosal healing and immune
homeostasis: a randomised phase I trial”. This follows the series of positive sector clinical trial readouts through
FY26 that continue to strengthen the investment case for live biotherapeutic drugs, supporting the partnering and
advancement of Microba’s therapeutic assets.
Looking ahead, we remain on track to launch a new category-defining testing product, GI Navigator, in
September 2026, with the first 35 GI Navigator sales already achieved as part of an early access program
across Australia and the United Kingdom with key opinion-leading clinicians. This new product represents the
next meaningful step in the clinical application of complete microbiome and gut testing and is designed to open
up our serviceable addressable market to more medical doctors, a significant next segment of the healthcare
practitioner market for our tests. At the same time, we have rapidly completed the streamlining of the business to
a structurally lower cost base on plan and without impact to our core growth engine, drawing on our existing
product, infrastructure and AI-efficiency investments.
With a category-defining product on track for launch, our therapeutics partnering process active, costs reducing
and margins expanding - we are focused on delivering the whole company to cashflow break-even.”

KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Growing key enterprise accounts in Australia
In Australia, adoption has now moved beyond
innovators into early adopters, increasingly
characterised by enterprise-style contracts with
healthcare clinics. These accounts when signed and
activated, represent meaningful recurring volume
potential.
At the end of June, there are now over 175 key
account targets in the pipeline in Australia, with an
estimated ordering potential of over 80,000 tests per
annum.
Since we commenced targeting these key accounts in
November 2025, we have already signed 43 accounts
and sold 5,606 tests, up 87% QoQ. These accounts
represent an ordering potential of over 24,000 tests
per annum.
These signed accounts continue to grow strongly,
underwriting a substantial share of the growth ahead
as they mature, and demonstrating the significant
growth opportunity from this enterprise channel.
Upcoming new GI Navigator testing product launch
On track to launch GI Navigator, a new category-defining
testing product, in September 2026. This product is the
culmination of several years of leadership at the forefront of
this new diagnostic category. It represents a meaningful leap
in the clinical application of complete microbiome and gut
testing and is expected to open up our serviceable
addressable market to more medical doctors, a significant
next segment of the healthcare practitioner market for our
tests.
GI Navigator is live now with a closed-group early access
cohort of opinion-leading practitioners across AU and
UK, with the first 35 sales achieved: multiple parts of the
product are already delivering clinical value and receiving
positive feedback, the new product is powered by Microba’s
proprietary one-of-a-kind Clinical Logic Engine.

THERAPEUTICS
Microba maintains its competitive advantage in human data-driven discovery from the human microbiome
and holds field-leading live biotherapeutic IP assets with deep preclinical and early clinical validation,
including MAP-315, which is near Phase 2 ready. All further internal R&D investment remains paused, as
previously guided.
Prospective partners have for years been awaiting definitive Phase 1b/2a efficacy data that will validate the
live biotherapeutic modality in a major chronic disease setting. Between November 2025 and February 2026,
those validating results have been substantially delivered:
• Siolta - Phase 1b/2 Allergic Disease asset read out – 17 Nov 2025 - met their end points.
• Maat Pharma – Phase 3 GvHD asset – 8 Dec 2025 – positive final pivotal results. Regulatory review
by the European Medicines Agency for Market Approval ongoing.
• Enterobiotix – Phase 2a IBS asset read out - 8 Jan 2026 – met their end points
• Microbiotica – Phase 1b IBD asset read out – 11 Feb 2026 – met their end points
• Microbiotica – Phase 1b Oncology asset read out – 18 May 2026 - met their end points
• Seres Therapeutics – Open-label Trial Oncology read out – 8 Jul 2026 – positive early data
Aligned to this series of positive sector clinical trial readouts, Microba attended the 2026 BIO International
Convention in San Diego, and hosted partnering meetings supported by the Company's Boston-based
advisors, as a precursor to a formal partnering campaign planned to commence from July 2026.
Additionally, during the quarter a manuscript reporting results from the Phase 1 trial of the Company's lead
asset MAP-315 in ulcerative colitis was provisionally accepted for publication in Nature Communications,
titled “A human microbiome-derived therapeutic for ulcerative colitis promotes mucosal healing and immune
homeostasis: a randomised phase I trial”.
These readouts and the associated evidence base strengthen the investment case for live biotherapeutic
drugs and are expected to support Microba’s active partnering process.

FINANCIALS
Core testing revenue achieved a new record quarter of $2.53 million for Q4 FY26, up 45% versus PCP and
up 19% QoQ. Q4 FY26 total revenue was $4.07 million, up 21% QoQ and down 2% versus PCP, reflecting
the legacy tests and services revenue that was present in FY25. For the full financial year, FY26 total
revenue was $14.78 million, down 6% versus FY25, while core testing revenue grew strongly year-on-year as
the strategic transition to a focused core testing business was completed.
Full-year core testing volume reached 22,418 tests, up 78% on the 12,629 tests sold in FY25. While modestly
below the 24,000+ tests indicated through the year, the difference reflects the timing of the volume ramp, the
business exited FY26 at an annualised run-rate above 25,000 tests, and enters FY27 with strong momentum
and a maturing enterprise-clinic account base.
Microba's own-brand Invivo supplement business continued to deliver growth in the quarter, with Invivo
revenue of $0.75 million, up 11% versus PCP and up 11% QoQ. Reported total supplement revenue declined
versus PCP, reflecting the planned phase out of lower-margin distributed supplement products, with
distributed (DFH) revenue of $0.12 million, down 75% versus PCP. The strategic transition to higher-margin
own-brand product is expected to support improving supplement gross margins in subsequent periods.
Deferred Revenue
Reflecting Australian Accounting Standards and the Company’s aligned revenue recognition policy, testing
revenue is recognised at the point a final Microbiome Explorer or MetaPanel report is delivered to the
customer, rather than at the point a kit is ordered and paid for.
Microbiome Explorer deferred revenue was $1.79 million at 30 June 2026, up 66% on $1.08 million at 30
June 2025 and up 15% QoQ. The increase reflects the growing volume of kits sold and committed by
customers ahead of report delivery, and provides visibility over core testing revenue expected to be
recognised through FY27.
Deferred Revenue 30 Jun 2026 31 Mar 2026 30 Jun 2025
Microbiome Explorer $1,792,095 $1,552,446 $1,078,010
Cash Flow and Cost Discipline
Cash receipts for the quarter totalled $3.95 million, broadly flat against both QoQ and PCP. The stable result
reflects the completion of the Company's transition to a focused core testing business, with growth in core
testing and own-brand supplement receipts offsetting the strategic roll-off of discontinued legacy products.
Net cash used in operating activities for the quarter was $3.43 million, down 2% QoQ and down 38% on the
$5.56 million outflow in Q4 FY25. The reduction reflects a structurally lower cost base achieved through the
year, with staff cash costs down approximately $0.9 million, administration and corporate costs down
approximately $0.7 million, and product manufacturing and operating costs down approximately $0.7 million
versus the same period last year.
Streamlining to a structurally lower cost base
During the quarter the Company substantially progressed a streamlining of operations to reduce its ongoing
cash operating cost run-rate by approximately $7 million per annum. The reductions are concentrated in
functions where major product build-phase investment is now complete, and in shared functions benefiting
from AI-supported efficiency across customer support and back-office functions including finance, marketing
and people & culture. They do not reduce the core growth engine or front-line sales capacity.
The streamlining reflects Microba's transition from a build phase to a scale phase. With the multi-year
investment in the Company's testing platform, laboratory infrastructure and core product now substantially
complete, and operating processes increasingly automated, Microba is able to run a materially lower fixed
cost base while retaining the engineering, bioinformatics and commercial capability required to deliver its
growth plan. The benefit of the lower cost base will be realised progressively through H1 FY27.

One off costs associated with the restructuring, combined with costs of the corporate transaction that did not
proceed and capital raising activities totalled $0.7 million in the quarter.
Combined with the $5.0 million placement announced during the quarter and continued revenue and margin
growth on a largely fixed cost base, the lower cost base supports the Company's path toward whole company
cashflow break-even.
Capital Position
As at 30 June 2026, Microba held $7.95m in cash and equivalents.
On 12 June 2026 the Company announced a capital raising of up to $6.0 million (before costs), comprising a
$5.0 million placement at $0.05 per share and a share purchase plan (SPP) to raise up to a further $1.0
million on the same terms. Strategic partner and shareholder Sonic Healthcare Limited (ASX: SHL)
subscribed for $1.5 million.
The SPP remains open to eligible shareholders and closes on 22 July 2026.
Tranche 1 (approximately $4.57 million) settled on 17 June 2026 with funds received during the quarter.
Tranche 2 (approximately $0.43 million), the SPP, and one free attaching option per new share (exercisable
at $0.0625, expiring three years from issue) are subject to shareholder approval at the General Meeting on
24 July 2026, and would raise up to a further $1.43 million, with Tranche 2 settlement anticipated on 28 July
2026. Full details are set out in the Company's ASX announcements.
The Company continues to hold its $2.0 million R&D Tax Incentive loan facility with Radium Capital, providing
working capital ahead of receipt of the FY26 R&D Tax Incentive (expected in H1 FY27).
In accordance with Listing Rule 4.7C, payments made during the quarter to related parties and their
associates included in item 6.1 of Appendix 4C totalled $113,879 and comprised director fees.
Commenting on the quarter, Microba’s CFO, James Heath, said:
“FY26 reinforces the positive trajectory of Microba, with Microbiome Explorer now contributing the majority of
group revenue, our United Kingdom business delivering strong year-on-year unit growth, and our cost
streamlining programme well progressed as we move to a structurally lower cost base. Our focus in FY27 is
realising the benefit of our prior investments in product and infrastructure, growing our core testing business,
launching our market leading new product GI Navigator, expanding margins and reducing the cost base to
deliver our path to whole company cashflow break-even.”
