MAP has signed its first commercial agreement with strategic and distribution partner Sonic Healthcare (SHL-ASX | Not Rated), following the initial launch of the partnership and stake in November 2022. The commercial agreement covers Microba's advanced gut infectious disease testing technology, MetaPanel, into Australia. Detail in the release was vague, with no information around terms, pricing, target market segments and commercial strategy. We look forward to more colour from management ahead of forecasting any changes to revenue and earnings outlook, but view the development as an incremental positive, with potential launch as early as next quarter.
