Microba Senior VP of Therapeutics, Professor Trent Munro presenting at Ginkgo Ferment 2024, a premier congress for exploring the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) developments in synthetic biology application, research and development.

Professor Munro shared an update on our partnership journey with Ginkgo Bioworks, a 2-year discovery program principally targeting three autoimmune disorders including lupus, psoriatic arthritis and autoimmune liver diseases. The partnership brings together Microba’s unique ability to identify and isolate human gut bacteria associated with health together with the high-throughput microbial screening capabilities of Ginkgo, creating a powerful drug discovery workflow.
